Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle the salmon lightly with olive oil and season both sides with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice to create the glaze.
Spoon the honey garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
For a crispier top, you can briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning the honey.
This dish pairs well with roasted asparagus or a simple side of rice for a complete, healthy fish meal prep option.
If you prefer a less sweet glaze, reduce the honey by one teaspoon.
