Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon soy sauce or tamari
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. This helps achieve better texture. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
Spoon the honey garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. For crispier edges, you can broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Remove the salmon from the oven. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a Texas Roadhouse style flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze mixture.
If you prefer crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down and bake for the full time without broiling.
This recipe works well for meal prepping; store cooled leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
