Make these easy pizza sliders using soft Hawaiian rolls for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or quick dinner. They feature pepperoni, mozzarella, and a savory garlic butter topping, baked until warm and cheesy.

  • 1 (12 count) package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Carefully slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese layer.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the pepperoni.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to create the garlic butter glaze.
  8. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
  9. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered tops.
  10. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  11. Bake for 15 minutes.
  12. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops are lightly golden brown.
  13. Let the pizza sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing between the rolls and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a thin layer of cream cheese to the bottom roll before adding the sauce.
  • If you do not have Hawaiian rolls, you can use any soft slider buns.
  • Serve these sliders with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
